First, I Have To
April 15, 2003

Happy Birthday Nicki!

Ok, now to the Tuesday memes. *Smile*

This-or-That Tuesday:

1. File taxes as early as possible, or wait until the last possible minute? I filed in the middle of the tax season.

2. File electronically, or mail paper forms? E-file. I got my money faster the two years I did it.

3. Prepare your own taxes, or have someone do it for you? I did my own taxes. I don't have that much to deduct.

4. Are you a saver or a spender? I'm a little or both. I wish I could have horded some of my income tax refund but it went to pay bills instead. However, I do have a small savings account.

5. Do you prefer to carry cash, or pay with plastic (credit/debit cards), or by check? Cash! It won't get you into debt. *Laughing* However, check cards make gas stations whole lot easier.

6. You're broke and desperately need a job, but the only places that are hiring are retail or fast food places. Which would you pick? Is it retail at the mall? I'll take that.

7. Keeping track of your money: are you more meticulous or careless about it? I'm middle of the road. I want to be meticulous, but my heart is careless.

8. What do you do if you find yourself with a lot of change weighing down your purse/pocket/wallet? Do you try to spend it to *get rid of it*, or do you put it in a jar or a piggy bank? I have a piggy bank. *Smile* I must have over $10.00 change in it.

9. Which form of fake money do you like better...Monopoly money or those chocolate coins covered with gold foil? Chocolate coins.

10. Thought-provoking question of the week: You find a wallet containing $5,000 in cash, as well as several credit cards and the owner's drivers' license. Your rent is due tomorrow and you're short $200. Do you take the money (some or all of it) and mail back the wallet anonymously...or do you return true">the wallet with all contents intact? return true">the wallet intact. It's not my money and my conscience would eat me alive.

Tuesday Too:

1.) How would you explain the impossible? "Que Sera Sera." Most thing aren't impossible, they just look improbable.

2.) Invent, and define a new word for the dictionary of the future? "Waddlesnuff" - synonym for "Fiddle Faddle." *Laughing*

3.) Was the media coverage of the war bias? Did you watch the coverage? Why, or why not? - I watched coverage at night, usually to go to sleep. Every channel had their own bias. The bias? Their coverage was the best. I guess when David Bloom died, it just wasn't fun to watch anymore. Not that it was fun to begin with. David, however, brought a personal touch to the war. He made it possible so you could watch the war.
