I love that movie! Today, I got it on DVD along with Miss Congeniality, Dirty Dancing, and Midnight Madness. I only watched While You Were Sleeping and Midnight Madness tonight. I've seen Dirty Dancing so many times, it's not funny anymore.
My day started out with a trip to Bluffton. I wanted to look at Target and get a nightstand for my room. While there, we picked up Dirty Dancing. Then, we came back to Savannah and went to Best Buy. On our way to Best Buy, we heard on the '80's station "Invincible" by Pat Benatar. We blared the radio and belted out the song. At Best Buy, I picked up the Sandra Bullock double feature there. Then came back home for about an hour and then went back out to Media Play. That's where we picked up Midnight Madness.
For those that don't know what Midnight Madness is, it's crazy movie from 1980 that Nicki and I enjoy as kids when it would air on HBO. Michael J. Fox is in the movie, one of his first roles as an actor. Well, Nicki and I were discussing part of the movie we can remember. Someone she knew overheard us talking about the movie. When he found out what we were buying and it being the only copy in the store, he followed us around the store asking that he be allowed to buy it. I can't believe someone else, other than us, knew the movie.
When we came home, I watched Midnight Madness with Nicki. I haven't seen it in about 10-15 years yet I still remember parts of this movie. After watching that, I watched While You Were Sleeping with my mother. Actually, I watched bits of it the night before when trying to go to sleep. Since I didn't finish watching the movie, I decided to finally get it on DVD. I can't believe my mother didn't get it on DVD for Christmas. Instead, she bought The Net. ![]()
I finally saw all of While You Were Sleeping tonight. And like I said, I love the movie. It's so sad that's she alone at first, but then she finds a family that loves her and she's happy and then she finds someone that loves her. It's just so sweet. My mother reminded me that at least I have my family, which is true. As much as I want to kill them at times, we are close for a family. Family is very important.
And that basically was my day. Before I go, I'll post my Participation Positives now:

Season opener for all of baseball is only 22 days away! (For those that are asking, I'll be rooting for the A's in that series.)
