Ok, Who Else Will Admit It With Me?
February 16, 2003

You know, those irrational thoughts that enter your mind from movies, even though you know it can't harm you.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I should be asleep and I will go to bed in a moment. I was just watching Saturday Night Live.

For me, it's the "Star Spangled Banner" playing at sign off on a TV station. The NBC station here does that after SNL each Saturday. As much as I know it's a harmless thing, all I can think of is Poltergeist. You know after sign off, "Carol Anne" was visited by the spirits through the TV snow. I'm not so much afraid of something reaching out to me from my TV as I am of something unknown using the TV to speak to me! *Crying*

I know I'm not the only one with a fear like this.

I do the same thing. Have you seen The Ring? It's FREAKY! I thought something was going to come out of the TV for me for weeks. LOL

Ok, glad I'm not the only one.

I haven't seen The Ring, yet.

Yeah TV snow is kinda freaky ever since that movie. Ever play Bloody Mary in school? Where you say it 3 times into the mirror and turn out the lights etc? To this day I will NOT look into a mirror if there is little or no light. I'm always freaked out and scared what I might see looking back at me!! A lot of it has to do with I believe that the eyes are the windows to the soul and that a demon/spirit can enter through you if you stare into a mirror for too long. Strange, I know, but if you ever watch a lot of horror/spirit movies, mirrors play a part in almost all of them. Kinda like a "doorway" thing for me and that is just FREAKY! I have the mirror that was in my grandparents room for decades and I am so scared that one of these days I am going to look into it and they will be looking back at me. They say windows and mirrors can capture someone's image if they stare into it for long periods of time over a span of years/decades. They had that mirror ever since my mother was young. She's 56 now. Spooky. Yeah.. I'm a little but it works for me...

Wow, another thing Trish and Selgenda have in common!

Trish, I don't think you would like to read Spellbound by Christopher Pike if you haven't read it, yet. It could creep you out.

Nope, haven't read it. But usually reading doesn't freak me out too much. Movies don't either. My imagination is way scarier!!

So Seglenda and I have a lot in common huh? Like what?
