People that don't understand what I'm saying need not comment, please.

Yesterday, realized with MT 2.6, I couldn't use the smilies hack I'm currently using. Ok, yeah, not a problem right now. However, I do want to upgrade to 2.6 as soon as possible.

I just read today about the MTMacro. Using it, I can use smilies, too, just like I have been using.

However, I feel stupid not figuring it out. I understand installing the Macro files in the proper directories. I have them in the directories as stated. I understand how to write the to declare a new macro. I'm writing those right now as I type.

However, it's the everything else that's getting me! How do I get it such as to where I can define the macros? Do the macros have to be defined in my template permanently? That would be a lot of bloated coding to my site.

Well, as I'm playing around with this tonight (instead of verifying trigonometric identies like [sin^1/2 x cos x]-[sin^5/2 x cos x]=cos³√[sin x] that my homework is ), any tips anyone that has done this before can leave me would be appreciated.

Update 7:05 PM 2/15/03 I think I have it thanks to [the girlie matters]. is a macro and not a hack.
