Have I told you my favorite song on Days In Avalon is "More Than A Mystery?" Well, now you know.
It's currently playing on my CD player as I type this up.
Today, my mother and I went to Romano's Macaroni Grill. It just opened in Savannah at the mall. I was disappointed in it. Olive Garden has spoiled me. I get more for my money's worth at Olive Garden.
I have Richard blaring over Oprah. Today's topic is the downside of new marriages.
And to end this post for now, the HumpDay Hump.
Act VI Scene IV: *We are wrapping our Christmas presents this week since all our Christmas cards are out!* Quiet on the set!! Roll tape..... and....ACTION!!
Christy: I finally have most everyone bought for! About time, huh? How about you, do you have all your presents bought?
You: I lack the moola to give gifts this year. I did send cards, however.
Christy: My husband loathes a couple of "antique" ornaments my mom handed down to me from my youth. I think they are precious and will put them up every year regardless of his desperate attempts to throw them out "accidently" with the trash. Do you have a Christmas tree up and decorated? What is one of your favorite ornaments?
You: Our tree is up and decorated. I have too many favorite ornaments but I do have two ornaments I'm proud of. They are stocking ornaments I made in Industrial Arts in junior high. I made the red one in 7th grade and the green one in 8th grade.
Christy: Aside from the old-ass angel from the disco era that hubby hates, I also have a few other ornaments that get he scowls at. You see, when in high school, I would get an ornament each Christmas that sort of signified me and whoever I was dating at the time. It was a cute way to incorporate them into my Christmas traditions. I still have them...and they are on my tree. I mean, they are just too cute to get rid of and they are memories so I just can't. Do you have any ornaments that bring back memories?
You: When, my stockings above take me back to junior high and how I did like Industrial Arts. And I usually have a story for every ornament of mine on our tree.
Christy: Tonight is the night I start doing dinner like I mentioned in my previous post. I also went today to find out about getting the process for a breast reduction in motion with the doctor and the insurance. If you could redo a part of your body, what would you have done? but don't really change a thing because I think you are a doll just the way you are!
You: Why thank you!
I'd do something about my face. I don't like my chin. Damn genetic double chin.
Christy: Some people are impossible to buy for. I hate getting gift certificates for those kinds of people year after year but what else is there to get them? Do you have someone like that who just stumps you when it comes to buying gifts for?
You: Not really. I know what my family likes. I don't have any co-workers to buy anything for this year. Their lost, not mine! ![]()
Christy: I have a whole list of things I would love to have. Some unconventional I admit but all things that I have picked up and put in my buggy only to drop off in another part of the store before checking out. Movie gift certificates are one of my big items since I just LOVE going to the movies. I go alone all the time. There are a few I want to see right now. Which one would you love to go see?
You: Two Weeks Notice. If I had to choose a favorite actress, Sandra Bullock would be it. I just love While You Were Sleeping!
Christy: We make a birthday cake for Jesus on Christmas Eve and sing Happy Birthday to him before cutting it on Christmas Day. What do you do to remember the real reason for Christmas?
You: Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus! I haven't been to ch

No, don't ever mention the Macaroni Grill again! LOL. That wasn't the most pleasant couple of weeks of my life!
I told my mother you worked there for a bit.
And Merry Christmas to you, too!
