but I'll admit it, I watched part of Monday Night Football last night. But, I do have a valid excuse! The Tennessee Titans were at home playing the Patriots. The Titans just happen to be the team my family loves. I spent the time watching the game reading too, but I saw the Titans waste a move of 39-yards in the 1st quarter and saw the Patriots get their only touchdown thanks to advancing on penalties. That's probably the only way they would have scored because Tom Brady just wasn't throwing the ball to his players during that time. But thankfully, at the end of the game, the Titans won! ![]()
And finally, for this post at least, it's the This-or-That Tuesday:
1. Christmas dinner: turkey or ham (or something else)? I don't know what we are having this year. Nicki doesn't want a turkey. She suggested steak. I guess I'll know on Christmas night. ![]()
2. Candy canes or chocolate? Both. I have so much candy each year!
3. Fruit basket or fruitcake? Neither. Fruitcakes are made in nearby Claxton so there's no escaping them here in Savannah.
4. Mulled cider or mulled wine? Neither. Just the water for me.
5. Eggnog or hot chocolate? I only drink water. I'm sorry. I'm picky. ![]()
6. Holiday cookies: homemade or store-bought? I'm burned out. My mother bought a bunch of pre-made cookie dough to cook at home. I made about 5 batched for the Christmas singing fest I attended Sunday night.
7. Roasting chestnuts or popping corn? Neither.
8. On the buffet table: veggie platter or cheese tray? We had a cheese tray this year.
9. Apple or pumpkin pie? Chocolate pie!
10. Christmas Day breakfast: before or after gift-opening? My family doesn't have breakfast because we're so filled on candy we got in our stockings. ![]()
