I'm still on a Céline Dion kick.
I have in my CD player, The Colour Of My Love. "Next Plane Out," one of my favorites on this album, is on now.
&*#%#$*@##$^! Officer shot near 61st and Habersham. It just happened this morning. Over the weekend, a Commissioner's son was killed. They were both sitting in their cars. This is scary!
And now for the real purpose of this post, memes, memes, memes. To be brought to you after I get Cozy in the house. He's outside on my A/C unit, which is about 6/7 feet off the ground.
If only I had a digital camera!
1. Real or artificial tree? Fake. I love our fake tree. An accident in 1984 at Grandmother's with a real tree has turned me off of them.
2. Real or artificial wreath? Again, fake. Not as messy as a real one.
3. Open gifts on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day (or do you do another
holiday such as Hannukkah)? Christmas Day! Why do people celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve?
4. "It's A Wonderful Life" or "Miracle on 34th Street"? I haven't really watched either of them. I just can't get into them.
5. Outdoor decorations, or just indoors? We have both. ![]()
6. "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" or "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer"? Rudolph, hands down. ![]()
7. Miniature lights or the larger ones? I like the mini-lights.
8. Store-bought or hand-made ornaments?Store-bought. I made ornaments when I was younger and have 2 I made in Industrial Arts on the tree, but my mother has trained me to hate anything that doesn't look nice and neat. ![]()
9. TV Specials: The Grinch or Charlie Brown? Rudolph! ![]()
10. Will you be staying at home for the holiday, or going visiting? Staying home, as usual.
1.) Do you have the google toolbar? If you don't I suggest you go get it; its way cool and quite handy. I resisted for such a long time, because I was always such a die hard Netscape fan, and it only works with IE. Not yet. I like the fewest things possible on my toolbars for IE.
2.) You may be surprised when you test yourself for hidden bias at Tolerance.org Thanks, but no thanks.
3.) What's floating your boat today? Not much, really. Just a giddy, for some unknown reason.
And finally, Participation Positives!
to all! ![]()

What the heck I'll do this or that...
1. Fake tree. Less mess and don't have to buy a new one every year.
2. Don't have a wreath but if I did it would be fake for the same reasons.
3. We usually open one gift on Christmas Eve and whoever we're with like this year it will be my sister and hubby, we will probably open the gifts from them and they ours. The rest is for Christmas morning.
4. I've never really seen It's a Wonderful Life but I did like Miracle on 34th Street. I don't watch either of them anymore. They're the type of thing for me that I see once or twice and that's enough. I do like the part in 34th St. where Santa chews gum for the first time and gets it all in his beard cause he was blowing bubbles.
5. Usually we have both indoor and outdoor. For me the tree is about the only indoor thing though. We did have lights on our hand rail one year and around our entertainment center.
6. I Like Rudolph but my fave cartoon is The Year Without A Santa Claus all because of the Miser Brothers... I love those songs.
7. I like the mini lights. Look more "twinkly" and "classy".
8. Store bought but we do have hand made ones too. Ones I made back in school and girlscouts etc.
9. Umm I like the grinch. LOL
10. Staying home except going to sister's house for Christmas Eve.
