1. Go out and buy gifts, or shop online/mail order? I prefer to buy girfts in person.
2. Gift cards/certificates or pick out gifts? Picking out gifts is half the fun!
3. Pay cash or charge holiday gifts? Whenever possible, CASH!
4. Are most of your gifts mailed or given in person? Given in person.
5. Are you an early-bird or last-minute holiday shopper? I'm a little or both, actually. 
6. If you shop in stores...big chain stores or smaller specialty stores? Big chain stores, usually.
7. Wrap gifts yourself or have them wrapped at the store or mall? If pro wrapping is available, free of charge, I'll do that. I can't really wrap at all.
8. Shopping on *Black Friday* (day after Thanksgiving)...did you or didn't you? I bummed out all day at home. I can't really afford to shop this year.
9. Is your holiday gift list large or small? It's small. I can't really afford to give anything. I'm pushing it with the Secret Santa because I did that last year and it was really fun. 
10. Is it better to give or to receive? It's better to give, but let's face it, I do get upset when I get a cheap or crappy gift in return. That mostly happened to me in present exchanges like the one the peer helpers had in my senior year of high school. I got a crappy final gift that to this day I think was only the filler of the gift. I think someone else 
got my real gift.
