Laura. I don't know where she got it from. ![]()
This song:
Reminds me of an ex-lover: Okay, so I never had a boyfriend but "Head Over Feet" reminds me Logan. Alanis was big when I was in high school and I loved that song. Also, I remembering overhearing Logan in class one day saying he couldn't stand Alanis. So whenever I hear this song, I think about him. Mind association I tell you!
Reminds me of an ex-friend: Okay, I wouldn't say ex-friend but friends I've lost contact with. "Will You Marry Me?" by Paula Abdul. Vickie called it her song for William.
And it not only reminds me of those two, but my other friends in 7th grade.
Makes me cry: "Same Old Lang Syne" by Dan Fogelberg. Such a sad, depressing song. I still cry to "You Needed Me" by Anne Murray. I know there are more.
Makes me laugh: Quite a few, acutally. I laugh at "My Stupid Mouth" by John Mayer because it seems like something I would do. Also, "Your Body Is A Wonderland" has me laughing. I can't imagine any guy saying that to me.
Makes me wanna dance: Anything upbeat, really. It depends if I'm in the mood or not. I'll name "It's Gonna Be Me" by *NSYNC as an example.
Makes me wanna sing: All of Heart And Motion by Amy Grant. I know all the words to the album.
Reminds me of the one I want: Well, I need to know who I want, first. ![]()
Reminds me of the one I love: When I find the one I want, this question shall be answered, too.
I wish I wrote: "Somebody's Somebody" by Christina Aguilera. ![]()
I never want to hear again: I agree with Laura and that smutty song, "Dirrty" by Christina Aguilera. Is it her life goal to be branned a slut in all capitals?
I want to get handfasted (married) to: Okay, not so much who sings them but the songs in general. "God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You" and "This I Promise You" by *NSYNC. I also had a few more other songs thought up but now can't remember them.
Sums up my teenage years: I can't think of a song except "Real World" by Richard Marx reminds my of missing my teens years and wishing I enjoyed them more.
I like to wake up to: Goodness, I can wake up to any Richard Marx song on the radio. ![]()
I like out of my parent's record collection: In my car at the moment is my father's Fleetwood Mac Greatest Hits album.
I've also taken my mother's Best Of Carly Simon album a few times to listen to it.
I love that I wouldn't know about if it wasn't for a friend: "Honestly For You" by Tony Lucca. It's a nice song I wish somone would sing to me. ![]()
I love the video more than the tune: You know, I can't think of one.
I'm not really into music videos.
Reminds me of my first crush: I brought up Alanis before but for this question, it has to be "I'm Loving Every Moment With You" by Céline Dion. This goes back to when I was 14. I could possibly go back farther in time and say "Poison" by Bel Biv DeVoe. ![]()
I love which is from my favorite movie: It's not realy my favorite movie. I still can't decide on that one! But I love the Céline Dion version of "When I Fall In Love" from Sleepless In Seattle.
Makes me think of the moon: "To The Moon And Back" by Savage Garden and "Water From The Moon" by Céline Dion.
Makes me think of the stars: "I'm Loving Every Moment With You" because I'd gaze at the stars and daydream when this song was on. I was 14! ![]()
Makes me think of the sun: "Soak Up The Sun" by Sheryl Crow. ![]()

oh this is cool!!!
This song:
Reminds me of an ex-lover: Well, um, sex wasn't being had but can it be just an ex-bf? In that case,
Bryan Adams' "Everything I Do[I Do it For You]" for
Doug. That song pretty much sums it all up. "I'd cry for you/I'd lie for you/walk the wire for you/yeah, I'd die for you..." I did all of that, even almost died! eek!
Reminds me of an ex-friend:
I have no idea!
Makes me cry:
Until I Find You Again, every single time.
Makes me laugh:
My own silly parodies. I think I'm good enough at it to laugh at my own creations.
Makes me wanna dance:
"Don't Talk"(2000) and "Mystery 4 Two"(1995), both by Jon B.
Makes me wanna sing:
Most of RM's and all of Celine's songs.
Reminds me of the one I want:
*blushes* now this isn't gonna make much sense but if you consider that i already got his friendship, then... "I Got You"--Nick Carter.
Reminds me of the one I love:
See above.
The best thing about that song is nowhere in its lyrics does it specify that it is necessarily romantic. I love my best friend and while I can't help but think of him "that way", underneath those newfound feelings is the strongest platonic love I've ever given and received. So, hey thanks Nick for recording "I Got You"!
I wish I wrote:
Um, gosh I don't know. I write my own songs and am waiting to hear back from the judges of the US Songwriting Competition about my entry. I find out Nov 15 or around then. Wish me luck!
I never want to hear again:
That list is TOO long.
I want to get handfasted(married) to:
"handfasted"?!?! I've got two songs that I'd insist on having played at my wedding. "I Got You"(ha!) and "Someone to Love" (Jon B, feat. Babyface). I'm a diehard Jon B fan from the very beginning. Oddly, can you imagine...no RM or Celine songs at my wedding!
Sums up my teenage years:
See question #1. Also, Celine's "I Surrender". Both pretty much say the same thing. My entire teenage years were wrapped up in Doug.
I like to wake up to:
I always fall asleep with my headphones on and lately Nick's cd in my Discman so I tend to wake up to whatever song happens to be playing when the sun comes up. (yes i go through a LOOOOOOOT of batteries!)
I like out of my parent's record collection:
"Masterpiece"--Atlantic Starr
I love that I wouldn't know about if it wasn't for a friend:
An old friend of mine introduced me to Jon B's music, particularly "Someone to Love" and "Pretty Girl", in my first week of college back in '95. I've been lovin' this guy's music ever since.
I love the video more than the tune:
I'm not sure. I am dying to see the video(if there is one) for Jon B's "Shine". That is one sexy song!
Reminds me of my first crush:
Can't remember.
I love which is from my fav movie:
"Everything I Do[I Do It For You]". Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves is one of my favorites anyway.
Makes me think of the moon:
"When the moon hits the sky..." how does that go? something something "...that's amore!" kidding! Um, Shawn--YOU stole my answers! ;)
Makes me think of the stars:
"Mystery 4 Two"--Jon B. "We can make love under the stars/baby it doesn't matter where we are..."
Makes me think of the night:
"Somewhere Out There", specifically.
Makes me think of sex:
Yeah, TOH is good...BUT my soundtrack for sex has to be just a mix of Jon B's sexiest songs, especially "Pretty Girl", "Shine" and "Pants Off"
Makes me think of being alone:
"Somewhere Out There", again.
"Somewhere Out There" is more depressing to me than "Right Here Waiting." I still cry to "Somewhere Out There" to this day. As I've aged, the harder it gets for me to listen to that song.
Posted by: Shawn at November 5, 2002 12:37 AMdepressing? really? i think it's so sweet...especially when Fievel and Tanya are singing it! Fievel sings it so off-key that i crack up every time!
Posted by: misbah kyrene f. at November 5, 2002 2:12 AMIt is a sweet song but it just brings me down and makes me cry.
I can't help it.
