I slept most of the day away. I only got on to read about Muscial Managers in baseball. Piniella leaving Seattle for Tampa Bay, Howe leaving Oakland for the Mets. Oh the possibilities!
I have a test today in math. I'm not worried about it. If I don't get the quiz back today, I'll probably get it Monday, along with today's test.
"Friday Five" time:
1. What is your favorite scary movie? I'm not into scary movies but I did enjoy Scream and Scream 3. However, I enjoyed the Scary Movies better.
2. What is your favorite Halloween treat? Flavored Tootie Rolls. You know, the orange, lime, lemon and cherry ones. I'm not into the vanilla onese, however. But I do eat original flavor, too.
3. Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, describe your best Halloween costume. Not anymore. My best costume had to be the fairy princess one my mother made for 1986. It was a pink dress she made and she and my father made a crown and wand with silver spray paint, cardboard, and glitter.
4. Do you enjoy going to haunted houses or other spooky events? I only lived on Ft. Bragg for 4½ years but they made a big impact on my life. Every October, they had a fair. I think I went to all the ones in October. They had a haunted house built there. I would acted scared in the house but for the most part, I wasn't, unless someone grabbed my feet while in it.
5. Will you dress up for Halloween this year? I haven't dressed up since 7th grade..

The flavored Tootsie Rolls are called Fruitsie Rolls! I love the grape!! GOOD STUFF!! hehehe

1. Don't like scary movies. I will not go anywhere near a cornfield even in broad daylight after watching Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering. But if I had to pick what I thought was the scariest...that's easy, "The Shining". *expletive* that still scares the crap out of me. I much prefer to watch "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" on Halloween.
2. Wow, this is a toughie. I don't actually eat candy. Trying to remember which ones I picked out instantly from when i was younger...my bad memories erased what few good ones I had so i don't know. hmm...i haven't had a candy bar in so long! lol I like Twix. That's what the trick-or-treaters who come to my house will be gettin'. lotsa Twix. 
3. Heck yeah!! Every single year. My best halloween costume...I was an orange traffic cone with two signs(front and back)...one said "5th St S. Closed for Construction. Use 3rd St. S." and the sign on my back read "3rd St. S. Closed for Construction. You're screwed." That was one of my favorite costumes after being the Pillsbury Doughboy.
4. No, that's some kind of perverse thrill I never got into. Think my childhood gave me enough scares to last a lifetime. I do like to go to Halloween parties and such.
5. Yeah, I'm going trick-or-treating with one of my best buds. She and I both look much younger than we are so we're pretty sure we won't be turned away. I won't actually eat the candy. But I'll save all the flavored Tootsie Rolls for Shawn. I think I already said what my costume is this year.
oh i didn't know they had grape flavored ones but if they do, i know who to send 'em to now.
