It shall be on either section 2.4 or 2.5. We get to choose the problem out of two she assigns us. I think I will do well on it. ![]()
And how about those Halos last night? I will be glad when I don't have to see Barry Bonds's bloated ego anymore.
Okay, I guess I should get to the Monday Mission:
1. Have you ever felt like you were expected to set a good example for others? Dang, did you sense my dream last night? I dreamt I was in high school again and that all the kids hated me because I always did my homework. The teachers loved me because of this. Believe it or not, I was expected to set a good example. Especially in the lower grades of my life.
2. What keeps you on the right path? For example, why do you think you turned out the way you did as opposed to the nut ball sniper out there? Maybe the fact my parents did keep a semi-strict eye on me. That's all I can say. I know I'm crazy but my life isn't that bad as compared to what's out there.
3. Sometimes things seem different than they really are. When was the last time you believed something to be one way only to learn you had it all wrong? Okay, I'll admit it. I always thought the words to "Kiss From A Rose" was "kiss from a rose on the gray" and not the grave. I just now found that out. Oops! ![]()
4. Can you recall a time when being alert and observant kept you safe? Not really. Except driving/riding in the dark. My mother doesn't have very good night vision so I have to be an extra pair of eyes for her.
5. Who in your personal circle of relationships do you think is smarter than you? Are they smarter in just one area, or overall? How do you feel about that? How do they interact with you? I'm going to keep mum about this one.
6. Let's daydream a little: Describe in detail the most perfect lazy day, start to finish. A nice spring or fall day where's it's not every hot. I could go to the pool or go to the fair. (Ft. Bragg had spring fairs!) Let's not forget a nice picnic lunch with some food from a restaurant.
7. Are you dressing up for Halloween? If so, what as? If not, how come? What is the most favorite costume you ever had? Not really. I haven't dressed up since I was 12. I have nowhere to go for Halloween nor the money for a costume. As for favorite costume, probably the fairy princess costume my mother made me in 1986. ![]()
BONUS: Come on baby tell me what’s the word? Grease is. ![]()
And now the Participation Positives:
to all! ![]()

1. At 25, I am not only the oldest athlete on my team but also the one who's been a member of it the longest. My teammates are newer and younger so often, my coach looks to me to lead them in warmups and stuff if he can't make it on time. Beyond that, I've also got a lot of work ethic and he uses that as an example of how he wants his athletes to be. (I am not perfect. Just when I don't think Coach is watching me gawk at some hot runner, I hear him yell across the track to stop checking out the cute guy, mortifying me in front of my eye candy. This has happened more than once and has resulted in extra pushups for me).
2. My Olympic ambitions have kept me on the right path. My parents can't really even modestly take credit for how I turned out. I know violence better than the back of my hand. But I'm not about to throw my life away and that's what's kept me on the right path.
3. Don't feel too bad about that Shawn! I thought the same thing!!!
4. I had a stalker two years ago who eventually found out where I lived and came over on Thanksgiving, intending to "kill me, THEN f*** me". Obviously, because I was alert and observant(and a quick thinker), I am still alive...and the police arrested him at work and he was fired when his employer found out why the cops took him. He was also kicked out of his house by his roommates.
5. The smartest person is the one who recognizes their aptitude(s), keeps practicing and never stops learning more in their particular strengths. That is all I will say about that.
6. A day off from training and work would be fabulous but my hypothetical plans to cook and bake lots of things in one day would probably negate the "lazy" part.
7. During the early evening hours at our Halloween party(for my preschoolers and their families), I am going to be "Gum on the Bottom of My Running Shoe" (pink sweatsuit covered with dirt and leaves with one of my old running shoes tied to my head). Later at night, I am going to be "Hell in a Handbasket"(yes, i will actually be wearing a handbasket with the bottom cut out on my head!! i'll be dressed as a devil of course). My favorite costume...I don't know. I was the Pillsbury Doughboy one year. That was funny except for all the damn poking!
Bonus: Well, if Shawn says grease, I say...um, soap.
Posted by: misbah kyrene f. at October 21, 2002 4:34 PMWhat do you mean you don't dress up for halloween? I thought all adults dressed up! I still dress up... Hehehehe Not sure if I will this year. Really don't have a costume unless I wanna go as a dominatrix.. Don't think the kids at the door would understand though.. And not exactly the "reputation" I want to get! LMAO!! Hmm maybe I can go as a crazed Packer fan... LMAO!
Posted by: Dragon at October 22, 2002 2:59 AMI guess Seal just didn't sing too clearly on that song, did he, Misbah?
And Trish, I only dress up if you count dressing as an adult as a costume.
Well dat is no fun Shawn! Cut loose! Dress up! It can be so much fun!!
