Good And Bad News
October 18, 2002

Bad news first. The router fell through this week. Maybe next week. So no late night chats with my friends, yet, without someone demanding their time for the computer. I lost the high bid I had for the Pink Panther costume, too. But the person with the high bid will have to pay $41.00 for it now. *Laughing* And that's all for the bad news.

Good news is that my high school age sibilings have had their computer access revoked due to bad grades. Bad for them but good for me. That only leaves 3 people to fight for the computer with. More time for me! *Laughing* I plan to be on most of the night. Also, I won my eBay bid for a "Hazard" single. *Smile*

AsI started to type this post, I had to run off and take my mother an item form my brother's auction and then get dinner for everyone else at home. My father wanted Checkers so Checkers it was. *Smile*

Mental note, don't piss me off. I get creative that way. I just created a really mean photo using PSP. I'd post if but it could piss a lot of people off. I'm not out to piss people off.

I received, yesterday, the MIDI demo of Project LMS. It's a CD of songs written by Laura and Shawn. One song was co-written by Trish. My name is listed in the thank you's. *Smile* It all songs so beautiful. Now to only get them recorded as they wanted them recorded and playing across international airwaves. *Smile* If my sister ever gets a record deal, I'll try to get her to record a song! *Smile*

Listen and reading the album, it got my writing juices going. I'll need to type up my words. I don't know if I'll place them on the site or not.

Finally, for tonight, the "Friday Five":

1. How many TVs do you have in your home? 5 that work at the moment. One in the living room and 4 in each bedroom.

2. On average, how much TV do you watch in a week? At least 21 hours a week. Give or take an hour or two.

3. Do you feel that television is bad for young children? It depends on what you allow them to watch. Law And Order for a 3-year-old is bad. Sharon, Lois, and Bram is not bad for a 3-year-old.

4. What TV shows do you absolutely HAVE to watch, and if you miss them, you're heartbroken? I have to watch my Braves baseball during the season. Hey, while I'm on baseball, someone from ESPN.com came to my site looking for "Rally Monkey Costume" on Google. Sorry, I don't have any but if you want to know, I'm rooting for the Angels this year! Okay, back to the question at hand, I also have to watch ER, Friends, and CSI.

5. If you had the power to create your own television network, what would your line-up look like? Well, all the Braves games be they regular season, postseason, or even spring training! Some Oakland A's games. Only if they aren't playing at the same time as my Braves. ER, Friends, and CSI for sure. I like some shows on TLC and the History Channel so can't forget those. I'd love to have a show based on ESPN.com's Page Two. Never can get enough of the sport parodies. Maybe give the Da Strike Zone girls there own show. And the 30-minute Richard Marx video fix. *Smile* Ok, I'll stop for now. *Laughing*

You have a copy of Project LMS? I don't even have a copy of it. I love the guy, but sometimes he gets on my nerves. I guess if I had asked for a copy, I'd have one, but some things a person should just know. I was also upset that he designed the cover and didn't consult me on it. I have no idea what picture is on it, I'm assuming it's one of the ones I have on my site (that he just now today asked if I'd like to have actual copies of). I know I keep saying he's done more work on it than I have, and it's true, but it's half me as well and he needs to start acting like it.

1. 3 of 'em. One is a 61 inch, the other is a much smaller tv in my bro's recording studio upstairs and the third is in my office, also upstairs.

2. oh boy, i have to count this...Mon(1 hr), Tues(1hr), Thurs(3 hrs), Fri(2 hrs)...a whopping 7 hrs of tv a week.

3. Whoa, "can open...worms everywhere"...it's Friday, people! sheesh! too late for a debate. Quality shows(and I don't mean SpongeBob SquarePants or Teletubbies or whatnot) can be good for kids, as long as it's in moderation.

4. Mon-Crossing Jordan, Tues-Judging Amy, Thurs-all of Must See TV, Fri-Providence and Law and Order:SVU. I practically hyperventilate if I miss these. Actually to be completely honest, I would probably spontaneously combust if anything got in the way of me and Friends or me and Law and Order:SVU. The other shows I've missed and while I whine a little, I get over it. These two...nuh unh...I have a royal tantrum. I have actually declined Friday night dates because of SVU and nothing and no one gets between me and my half hour of Matthew Perry.

5. It would be a 24-7 streaming video kinda thing..."Get off the couch and go outside, people!!" hahahaha and of course the 7 hrs of my favorite shows.

Sucks about the router. Had fun in the chat earlier! Oh and I forgot to tell ya, that song that I helped "co-write" I might actually end up singing on the CD... *THUD* Should be interesting...

It's funny we all have shows we'll bite over! And good luck singing, Trish.
