John Popper Has L
September 25, 2002

Ok, it's wasn't John Popper from Blues Traveler. It was just some student that looked like him. Had the outfit and everything. Yes, even the hat! I had heard "Runaround" on the radio this morning but after seeing this guy, it is really stuck in my head now! *Laughing*

HumpDay Hump time:

Act IV Scene IV: *We are in line at Target trying not to impulse buy all of the cool little trinkets they put right there at the checkout counter. Bastards! They know I can't resist.* Quiet on the set!! Roll tape..... and....ACTION!!

Christy: I love word games. I am a crossword junkie and those search-a-word things are king! I also love word association. Like when I saw white I think of glue which then makes me think of how much I love office/school supplies. Always have. It's a quirk. What does "white" make you think of? Why?
You: Pikachu, at first. She's mostly white except for her head and rear section. She's the whitest thing in the house.

Christy: I love scents. Every once in a while I catch a scent that reminds me of my grandmothers or my mom or a special friend. It takes me back to a special place in my soul that warms me for a second. My mom smelled like Sand de Sable or Skin Musk perfume when I was young and I am always reminded of her when I smell those scents. What smell reminds you of your mom either now or how she smelled from your childhood?
You: It's hard to remember. I can't associate a smell with my mother. My grandmother I could name off a dozen smells about her but not my mother. Is that odd?

Christy: What are you going to do today?
You: Go to class and then go home.

Christy: I like to think of myself as fun to be around, carefree to an extent, funny, pretty and kind. What do you like to see yourself as? What do you hope others see you as?
You: I think I'm boring. I don't have an exciting life. It's go to school and then come home. I don't really have the money to do anything and I live in a boring town.

Christy: Photography is so much fun to me. I have some new pictures up from when the kids and I went to our playground. Do you have a favorite photo? Do you have it with you? Can I see it?
You: Sorry, I really don't have a favorite photo of the moment. Oh wait, does the group shot from the Richard Marx Webcast Filming count?

Christy: I saw the Banger Sisters last night. It was okay. I would have rather rented it. I suppose I was expecting it to be more eventful or close to the caliber of Thelma &
Louise
. I loved that movie. What movie that is out now would you like to see?

You: I'm not a movie buff. Sorry.

Christy: Kids are both home today since my daughter has a small fever along with a little cold. Do you like the new layout?
You: It's cool. *Smile*

1. "white" makes me of...well, snow. Sorry, you
weren't hoping for a more original answer, were ya? I miss Minneapolis and seeing everything covered in snow!!

2. The smell that reminds me of my mom...Well, she's a high-society socialite(and now a political activist on top of that!) who also loves to cook. So we've always had soirees and parties. She's never hired a caterer. Her food is so good, you can smell it from a block away!! Everyone says that. She's always cooked. Our house always smelled good. She doesn't really have a signature scent but whatever spices she uses in her dishes seems to follow her around.

(by the way..."sand de sable" doesn't make sense. 'sable' is french for sand...what is that then, sand of sand?)

3. I am going to go for a long run(more than 5 miles, less than 10...haven't decided how far yet) after my last preschooler leaves. Already strength trained at the gym.

4. "Resilient, spirited, funny as hell, kind, honest, cute/attractive, definitely fun to be around and thoughtful." Well, that's how I see myself and that is exactly how others see me too.

5. I don't know who you are Christy but cool pics!! Yes, I have a favorite pic. I took a picture of West River Road(in Minneapolis) in autumn. I managed to get the foreground foliage, the river and then the colorful trees in the background too. It looks very cool! unfortunately, I suck at linking things but once my Minneapolis-nostalgic website is up, you can see that pic and others. I am not nearly as talented a shutterbug as Melli is but hell, I've managed to produce some really cool shots every now and then. Not surprisingly, all of them were taken in Minneapolis(maybe I'm just more inspired there!)

6. The last movie I saw in the theaters was Serving Sara, which really sucked. I just saw it cuz it's my man's movie(Matthew Perry...my man...lol...i can dream, can't i?!) . Still sucks. I'll forgive him for it. lol. But it's expensive to go see a movie and we have a 61" tv anyway so I just wait for the somewhat good ones to come on DVD. I am really looking forward to the Beauty and the Beast special edition on DVD. But there are no good movies out in the theaters right now.

7. Layout for what?
