What is getting out of hand, you may ask? The whole Save Karyn phenomenon. I got this the other day in my e-mail:

Hi, my name is Nick Howard. I had read your article about Save Karyn. I am a college student who is starting a similar site to help pay for tuition. I was wondering if you would think about writing an article when the site becomes live in the next week or two. I have no credit cards or debt. Just school costs. I know the story has made national news, and I was trying to get a line of supporters to help out my cause. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.

Sure, I contacted him and said "no." I think it's wrong to be begging as set by example at SaveKaryn.com Why don't I just ask everyone to send me money to send me to college next year?

I do, however, like Promo's approach to the Save Karyn phenomenon.

I'm ranting. I must be feeling better! I popped in A New Day Has Come the other day and been taking medicine. And finally, the sun is starting to shine in Savannah.
