After my last post, my mother and I went out to do my errands today. I cashed last week's paycheck and bonus check first. I then went to the Dept. Of Labor in town and filled out the paperwork for unemployment. I have up to 22 weeks of benefits equaling $197.00 a week.
Next, we went to Armstrong to pay for my tutition and book. $447.00 for the class and $78.18 for the book. I have yet to get the calculator I need. I might have to pass by with my old TI-82!
Then, I went to pay my doctor bills I needed to pay. One bill was at a collection agency. I told them I had a bad weekend, and I was laid off. They couldn't believe it! They knew full well who my boss was once I said the name. They gave me an application.
Finally, we went to the loan office in the same building I used to work in. My mother secured a loan to pay for my car repair. Then we came straight home.
So, so far, so good. 
I will get a job. And if not, I can at least take the class I just paid for and get unnemployment while searching for a full time job. I plan to take the application back to the collection agency tomorrow and might contact another in-town employer I know advertises on the radio many times.
So repeat after me, I will get a job! I will get a job! I will get a job!
