Last year during the AL Division series between the A's and Yankee$ (boo hiss!), my sister & I saw Jermaine Dye break his leg on a foul tip ball.
We thought that would be the only time we'd see that.
We were wrong.
Chipper Jones has just left the game after hitting his left chin on a foul tip ball. Now we're just waiting on news about what happened.
DeRosa's out for a bit. Sheffield is out for a hamstring. Surhoff is gone for the season and now maybe Chipper! What's up with this all now?
Edit: They said it's just a bruise. *crosses fingers*

ACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope he's ok, I hope he's ok, I hope he's ok. I saw the break Jermaine Dye sustained (he's a former Royal as well as a former Brave, so they played it all over local TV)... I hate to see things like that. Especially for my Chipper!!! I knew I should watch more games

Wwll, Chipper seems to be ok, so they say. Now we're worried about Marcus Giles. He did a number on his foot. He was crying, the poor boy, and had to be helped off the field. First Mark and now Marcus!
