I slept in today. It's a three day weekend - why not? I awoke a bit to help my sister around 10:30 and then crawled back into bed. I was asleep until Nicki's friend Heidi called at 2:40!

I don't sleep in like I did today normally. I guess I needed it!

Whoever said chicks dig the long ball was wrong about me! Nicki and I decided not to go to a Sand Gants game yesterday, even though I had the money. Instead, we stayed home in the A/C and watched the Braves pound the Reds. The Braves scored 7 runs alone in one inning without a single home run. Home runs are cool to watch but the action's in the small ball.

Off to find something to do…what, I don't know.
