"I Am Never Growing Up"
May 1, 2002

Says my shirt. I love it. I got it down at Disney a couple of years ago. I felt like wearing some jewels of Beth's with an sticky back on my face but I decided against it. I'm usually a normal person but once in a while, I get crazy. That shocks people but keeps me grounded.

Both Oakland and Atlanta lost last night. :-(

Work here is slow. I really don't have much to do so I dawdling to do it. The boss is out the rest of the week. I did get a $110.00 bonus that's going for bills. Maybe after I get settled in college, I get myself something, like that guitar I've been seeking to get one day. Which reminds me, I should pull out and listen to Behind The Eyes tonight.

I'll be going to Augusta this weekend. But I wish is was Atlanta instead. Music Midtown is this weekend. Acts appearing this year I'd like to see: Edwin McCain, Garbage, Incubus, Journey, & No Doubt.

I read about this on the USAToday site and now it's on the AJC site: Fraternity suspended for pig abuse. What a bunch of animals! What they did to get pig was cruel and I hope they get punished. Horrible, I say. Just Horrible.

Wednesday Whine time!

1. Julia Cameron's advice to writers is to "keep the drama on the page." (page 40, The Right to Write) Where do you express your drama? Do you write about it, sing about it, fight regularly with a significant other or family member? After the drama has ended, how do you feel? I fight, I blog, I scream, I do a lot of stuff to get my anger out. I hate being angry and it's not good for your body. But you know, I can't help it.

2. What do you think is the most underpaid and unsupported profession? Why do you think this? Teachers, for one. All the good one realize that is sucks, leaving all the bad ones there and such turning our world into idiots. What good is a teacher that doesn't know what they are teaching? Now the news is saying people don't know science! Duh! Some teachers rather hang out with the students than teach. At least I'm going back to college to learn. That's the only reason I am going back to school.

3. Name one thing (object, person, feeling) that you are happy that you have in your life. Now name one thing that is missing. How are they related? Happy thing - my parents. When things are wrong, they are there to cheer me up. Missing thing - many things. Maybe I just want my own family similar to the one my parents provided my so I won't feel like I'll be alone my whole life.

4. "You must have chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star." -- Friedrich Nietzsche (Do what you would like with this quote!) Chaos sometimes makes me happy, I guess. Without it, I'd be a dull person.

5. <whines> Why should we always have to use our "nice voice?!" What are you talking about? When I'm angry, I hardly use my "nice voice."

Wednesday Whimsy:

1. We've all wanted to be in a movie at some point. If you could be any existing or added character in any movie, what would it be? Ooh, I wouldn't know what to think! I'd think maybe I'd be "Elle" in Legally Blonde.

2. Have you ever dreamed of being a star of the stage? Tell us about it. No, I haven't, really.

3. No one can convince me that they didn't act up to get attention as a child. Tell us a story about your childhood theatrics. You know, I can't remember where I did anything to stand out. Except act like an idiot around Ryan. Then again, he was a friend so it didn't really matter.

4. Describe a recent dream. I had a horrible dream last night. It had a plot. There was a rich guy, that happen to look like Ricardo Montalban, that had these teams, which "I" was on. I say

I saw that & I thought you'd love to see her! I know Evan And Jaron were they last year and I wanted to see them plus a few other acts. My goal is maybe next year's events. Shame to see it looks that you really are moving out of state. Maybe we could go next year together. And you'll be in Aussieland for the Riverbend Fesitival. I wonder who's playing there this year.

I've never heard of Riverbend. Shawn and I are really hoping that we'll want me to stay there. If he'd just stop talking about dying before we get together. grrr...He seems to think that we've gotten so close to being happy and now that it looks like it'll happen, something tragic is going to happen. He needs to just hope for the best and shut up about it. If I decide to stay there though I'll make sure we call you and tell you.

I promise I won't say anything about the Ford Explorers!!

Just be sure that you do your research on them, though. A few years ago, when they first came out, they were totally unsafe (and Ford knew this, yet released them anyway!) But I think (I hope) things have improved. Definately consult "Consumer Reports" before you spend that much money, though! It's a lot of money to spend to not be safe.

Also remember that our gas prices are kept unnaturally low, and if anything should happen, a shortage, like it did in the 70's, our gas prices could double again (it already costs about $5 a gallon in Europe) and then you'd sort of be stuck with a car that costs tons of money to fill with gas!

I personally don't go for them at all because I have a small car, and if I am ever in a collision with one of them, I know who would survive, and it wouldn't be me! My biggest problem, though, and I'm not sure if you have this problem in Savannah, but Boston roads are terribly narrow, so if you have one SUV on the road, then that's pretty much all you can have. We're not really equipted for the traffic we have, and adding really large cars to the mix doesn't help. It's different if you have large roads, though! Then there is enough room for lots of different sized cars, and no one feels particularly bullied because they own I small car.

Well, enough of my babble!!

Well, before I even got a Ford Explorer, I'd need the moola first! Savannah seems to be a SUV haven. But for now, I'm quite happy with my high performance Chevy Malibu.
