Since the beginning of this post is about "baseball", I watched last night's Braves game. B.J. Surhoff is on the 15-day DL with injured knee. It was a painful collision with the wall and you could hear it and Surhoff's wail on TV. Ryan Langerhans has been called up in his place and Mark DeRosa is playing out there today. Which reminds me I still need to develop those photos…

I wish I could knock some sense into both Arafat and Sharon about the crisis in the Middle East. Wait a second - when isn't there NOT a crisis in the Middle East? It's wrong that the Israelis are being killed by sucide bombers but it's a shame that innocent Palestinians are paying a price for those that are crazy. Now, Israel won't let the U.N. to inspect Jenin for fear the "committee is out to get us and is likely to smear Israel and to force us to do things which Israel is not prepared even to hear about," as quoted by Communications Minister Reuven Rivlin. No shit! You kill cilivians in relatiation for sucide bombers. It's just as evil to kill the Palestinians as it is for them to kill the Israelis.

But, it's something I can't change in my lifetime. After all, we're God's creatures. It must be killing God to see us all fighting like we are all in his name. Dr. Martin Luther King said in his famous "I Have A Dream" speech, "I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together." Hopefully one day, it will happen.

While I'm writing this long post that will probably be my only post of the day, I have a few more answers for some of the "Friday Five" questions. I'd love to take up guitar, too and I collect the state quarters. Thanks Eve, for reminding me that I have those, too.

My brother, Matthew, is working this weekend for "Bravo On With the Show". It's to be aired later in the year on Bravo, I think. So you must watch him on TV when I find out when it airs.
