Thursday's Blah
April 25, 2002

Google gets me sometimes. All I said is that I'm glad that Forgea was found and now Google's sending everyone to my site about it. I even got a visitor that works in the Senate looking for information on Forgea and another from Universal Music. Best source of Forgea information is CNN.com, not me.

Another thing that is bothering me is Virus W32.Klez.gen@mm that is floating around. And the thing that irks me, it makes it looks as if I'm sending it from subscribe@shawnallison.com. I am NOT sending a virus out. I don't use Outlook Express because it has security holes. And I do have anti-virus software. If you don't have it, get it!

Yesterday, the Wednesday Whimsy asked about a recent dream. I can remember last night's dream. We were in Nashville at Grandmother's home, which is no longer in the family but we know it's owned by a lady that loves the house. I had a messy room in my uncle's own room but the door had to be closes as not to let the A/C out. I found some flashy pins I like to collect as for my two missing cell phone. And then I remember worrying that my phones would be on roaming and if they would work with the same numbers as my other two phones. There's was a bunch more stuff in the dream I just can't explain why it was there and don't want to share those details.

Since I had nothing to do yesterday, I spend some time working my way back to school. I worked on my FASFA form. It was a copy of the form. I didn't want to ruin the real copy I had so I made a copy to work on it. Must work on that this weekend. I'm so confused by the form. I also found out when the money for summer course is due and when to register for summer course. Later today, I'm going over to the college and getting a decal for my car. This time, I plan on succeeding in school.

Thursday Threesome time.

Onesome. The Good. Read a good book lately? Recommend a recent read - as well as your favorite book of all time.... From The Monday Misson: "2. What was the last book that you finished reading cover-to-cover? A Walk To Remember by Nicholas Sparks." It's a pre-teen book but a good book is Wait Till Helen Comes

Twosome. The Bad. Was it so bad that you couldn't watch anymore? Tell us about a bad movie - did you leave or suffer through it? (Videos can count, too) From the Monday Misson: "3. Did you ever get up and walk out of a movie? Which one and why? No, I haven't but I've wanted to. Folks was pretty bad that if I could have left, I would have. I'm glad I didn't go see The Blair Witch Project. My parents rented it and forced me to watch it. It was so bad, I threatened to walk out of the living room many times while it was playing."

Threesome. And The Ugly. And then things turned ugly.... Oh, have a day (or date) seem to go so horribly wrong it can only be described as "ugly"? Tell us all about it... A year ago today was pretty rotten. My grandmother died. She died a stupid death that WAS preventable. It was also raining, which made it all the worst. I don't want to get into more details.

shawn,
sometimes it feels as if life is just one big bureaucracy (forms, and more forms), but sounds like you're on a roll in getting back to school. good for you! and yes the decal will seal the deal; once you put it on your car there's no turning back

i'm disappointed to hear that savannah is such a bore; it's a place i've always wanted to visit. should i give up this notion?

If you want to visit Savannah, don't let my complaining stop you. It's not a bad city to visit. But as for activties for the residents, there's nothing but the beach.
