First let me say, I want this duck.
Ok, now to the HumpDay Hump:
1) Would you say you had a good childhood or a bad childhood? What made it so either way? I would say I had a good childhood. Until I was uprooted from Augusta, then my life became hectic but most of those problems were problems within, not from other people.
2) Were you the athlete, the brain, the princess, the criminal, or the basket case? (stereotypes direct from the end of the Breakfast Club) The brain/basket case. Sure, I was smart but I was also isolated from most people. Especially in high school. But some of it was because I had a hard time relating to other people.
3) Did you attend a private school or a public school? If private, were there uniforms involved? Private school from K-3. Yes, we had uniforms. Big Pine had green jumpers and St. Mary's required white blouses and navy blue skirts or pants. From there, I went to public school.
4) Favorite teacher in elementary and secondary schools? Why were they your favorites? Well, my favorite teachers had to have been the ones I had at Irwin Middle School. I had a good time at Irwin. I know Mrs. Sturgies is still teaching at Irwin. But I wonder about Mrs. Hyatt.

Hey, Shawn!! This post has absolutely nothing to do with your post..... but I just realized something and I had to tell you. If that made any sense at all... LoL. Anyway, what I just realized is that my link to you that I had on my site isn't up right now.... but I'm trying to put it up. Maybe you didn't even notice it, but I just thought I'd tell you so that you didn't think I was just being a buttmunch for not having it up. :-) See, I never used to use the Yahoo Page Builder, but for some reason that is the only way I can edit my index now.... and.... being the computer idiot that I am, it's taken me awhile to learn how to work the dang thing!! So I'm trying to put all my links back up. It doesn't help that every time I open the Yahoo Page Builder it likes to lock up on me before I can save it!! I hate change. Anyway..... just wanted to let you know.... but your link will be back up as soon as possible.... so don't think I'm a buttmunch, kay? LoL. :-)
Posted by: Nikki at April 24, 2002 12:51 PMAren't those ducks the best? A good friend of mine got one of those because he has insurance with AFLAC. That duck rocks!!!
Now and Forever,
Liz
Thanks for stopping by and doin the HumpDayHump again this week! The duck is great! My daughter loves that commercial so that would be a great little gift for her one day! Thanks again.
Posted by: Christy at April 25, 2002 12:59 AMNikki - no rush on the link. :-)
Liz and Christy - one of the highlights of the Braves games is that duck. Nicki and I love saying AFLAC during the game. We try not to miss the ads. The best ad was the one with the couple in the bed but I think the kids at the museum is pretty cool, too.
Posted by: Shawn at April 25, 2002 11:35 AMAh, the subtle nuance of the AFLAC Trivia Question. I used to honestly keep a log of the questions and which ones I got right. lol! It was never many, I can tell you that. Braves games rock! Didja read the article about Chipper in the People magazine about getting pregnant after 40? God, I love Chipper!
Now and Forever,
Liz
Oops.. that last part didn't sound the way I wanted it to. I meant the magazine's cover story was about getting pregnant after 40. Chipper's article was totally seperate. lol!
Posted by: Liz at April 25, 2002 9:12 PMNah, I didn't read the article about Larry Wayne. Agh! Watching the Arizona series, I just want to smack Chipper and ask what's wrong with him. Caused Bong to lose the other night and helped Maddux lose it tonight. Game's not even over yet it's 10-1 Arizona.
Posted by: Shawn at April 25, 2002 9:18 PMugh.. Bad, bad L.W.!! :-( He's just not a left fielder. They need to keep his cute behind on the infield! *sigh* I need to watch more games!!!!
Now and Forever,
Liz
I'm sorry, Liz. I just can't find Chipper all that cute. Now Barry Zito, Mark DeRosa, Marcus Giles, now those are cuties to me. And let's not forget Ben Affleck, JC Chasez…What were we talking about? Oh, baseball! It's now 11-2! *sniff*
