Monday Mission

1. What helps you get started every morning? Putting in my contacts, checking my e-mail, and reading CNN.com

2. What is the most memorable thing anyone has ever made for you? Many things! My mother's friend Nancy made me a bunny flower planter. My mother has made me many pillowcases. I could go on but I'll spare everyone.

3. What music are you currently listening to in your car? I'm not in my car, silly! Actually, my radio on the way to the bank was on a mix of stations. Z102 for new stuff. Star 103 for all '80's, and 98.7 for soft rock. I think Z102 is on at the moment in the car.

4. One thing I like to do is buy USA Today on Wed., Thur., and Fri. Even if I don't have the money, I will find a way to buy them, because I just love reading them. What is one "splurge" you allow yourself, even when you shouldn't? Baseball cards! Can't help it. I'm addicted to them. But it's an inexpensive pleasure that could pay off in the long run. After all, I do have an Ichiro rook card.

5. Have you ever been given a "second chance?" What happened and did you make the most of it? My employment here. My boss had to lay me off in 1999 due to financial reasons. When the work piled up again a year later, they called me in to catch up on the work. I've been here for 2 years straight, now.

6. Do you have a lot of friends outside of your own ethnic background? Not a lot of friends but when it comes to people, it's the soul, not skin color, that counts. I have a few and had a few. My best friend in my 11th grade math class was a black boy by the name of Phillip. The teacher pretty much knew we'd always partner up.

7. What was the last situation that really, really pissed you off? The crap that's happening at RichardMarx.com. Petty thing, yes I know, but still it angered me and a bunch others.

BONUS: Who's your friend when things get rough? Tamm. Trish Or is it Baseball? Gotta think about this one…
