Of a love affair that is not my own
Torn apart by two lovers
Meant to be together forever
As a third person in the story
I wish I could control it
Telling him to go to her
Telling her to go to him
I know his heart's out to save
him from the pain a relationship may give him
I know her heart is breaking
For him her heart is aching
I wish I could get the back together
Is time and distance their friend or foe?
Who knows the truth, no one knows
All they want is to be together
All they want is to never be apart
Yet life is keeping them apart
Making sure its hardening their heart
Love seem to be fading away
Caught in the middle
Of a love affair that is not my own
I just don't want it to be gone…
