And concert #4 the next night!
This concert was the second leg of my New England road trip to see Richard perform alive.

We got to Foxwoods about 3 pm. We left Westbury at about 9 am the day of this concert but the group I traveled with rode a ferry from the northeastern tip of Long Island to New London, CT. We then stopped in Mystic, CT on the way and ate at Mystic Pizza, the pizza parlor the movie is based about. I'm going to keep it short and just say that it was a great afternoon. The only sad part was I heard from one of my travel mates about the Kennedy plane crash. After we got into our room, we rested a while and then got ready for the show and waited to get great seats.

I was on the meet and great list for this one. The area they took us to for the meet & greet was really dark so I couldn't see too well. I also did not want my glasses on when my photo taken with Richard so when it was my turn, I took them off. I apologized to him that I was blind (but can't remember if I said anything about my glasses but I had them in my pocket). I felt better when he said was blind too. He then signed my Paid Vacation CD and then my picture with him snapped. It was a quick and brief meeting again but it was great. I was not nervous really and he was very sweet.

Now onto the show. My group originally sat on the second row at the second table according to audience left. We moved to better seats but moving to the fourth table between "Until I Find You Again" and "The Way She Loves Me." He wore a long sleeved black shirt and a black pants. About the time for "One More Time," he asked us to stop and take a few minutes to pray for the Kennedy and Bessette families. Most of the jokes were the same as the previous night, not that I cared. :-) He didn't joke about Ricky Martin as much as he did the first night but when he got into it, he said something about Ricky's dancing similar to the Czechoslovakian Brothers. If I was to have a drink in my mouth when he said that, I would have probably sprayed the people across from me. The only other real difference between the two nights was someone asked Richard for a picture and he said something about not doing anything. (he was just performing a concert!) He pulled the lady on stage and she dragged her friend and the three of them had a picture taken on stage!
