How can life be so cruel?
It makes you feel like a fool.
It’s not fair to fall in love with a dude
That’s not in love with you.
What you would do to show him what’s in your heart?
What you would do for the two of you to never be apart?
You want the whole world to know
The exact reason why you have that glow.
He treats you as a friend, yes indeed.
You long to be more then just “Hey, buddy!”
Your thoughts of him help keep you sane.
But your tired heart has had enough of life’s sick game.
You hold onto this one little dream.
“Hey, yes, this man belongs to me.”
You hope one day God makes this dream come true.
That the man of your dreams will become the man for you.

Writer's note:
This little piece of writing was inspired by that song called “Crazy For This Girl.” Well, I thought of another scenario. What about a girl that loves a guy that doesn’t love her and has no clue? Basically, just about how every girl with a crush feels. I know, it sounds pathetic but such is life. This is what popped into my head.
