8) I was originally going to attend Georgia Tech out of high school. I wasn't ready at the time. I can at least say I was accepted. Who knows, maybe I'll go one day.
9) I wish I had ham license, but I don't. I did a course on hamming in 11th grade.
10) I am not a native of Savannah. I blame the United States Army for me living here since the end of 1993. I don't want to leave my family, but I wouldn't mind leaving this town one day.
11) For being an army brat, I think I would amaze you when I say I have never left the United States, save for about 2 hours in Canada.
12) Locations I recall my father being stationed at are Ft. Gordon, GA (Augusta, GA area), Ft. Bragg, NC (Fayetteville, NC area), and Hunter Army Airfield (located right here in Savannah, GA).
13) The schools I attended were Big Pine Montessori for morning Kindergarten, St. Mary's On The Hill from afternoon Kindergarten until the 3rd grade, Jamestown Elementary for 4th grade only, with all these schools in Augusta, GA; I attended Department of Defense schools Irwin Middle (for 5th & 6th grade) and Albritton Junior (7th until the first half of 9th grade at Ft. Bragg, NC; and finally H.V. Jenkins (9th - 12th grade) in Savannah, GA. If you went to school and remember me, e-mail me. I promise, I won't bite. I didn't bite you before, did I? ![]()
14) I worked in the field of bankruptcy for 2½ prior to returning to college. That knowledge has paid off for me in "the real world."
15) I won the Geography Bee for my school in 6th grade.
16) I attended the State Bee that same year.
17) I placed second in the school Geography Bee in 8th grade.
18) There was one when I was in 7th grade, but I was ill and couldn't participate that year.
19) I have been wearing glasses since I was 10.
20) However, I didn't start wearing contacts until I was 23.
21) I took my first trip on a train in 1997 when I was 18.
22) I took my first trip on a plane in 1999 when I was 20.

26) I can't spell. It was always my downfall in Language Arts class.
27) I was a Girl Scout for 10 years. Once I moved to Savannah, I lost interested because I couldn't find a good troop. Scouting in Augusta and Ft. Bragg spoiled me. Thankfully, for most of those years, my mother was involved.
28) My mother died two days before my 27th birthday in 2005.
29) I wish I wasn't as slow to learn all about life as I have been. I know I have much more to learn.
30) I'm a junkie for stupid, useless information. I've won a few radio contests because of this silly knowledge. Also, it comes in handy in class, too.
31) I love to look at the stars, but the unknown of space scares me. Funny, considering I got an A in college entry-level Astronomy. I think I drove the professor bonkers in that class because I knew too much.

33) I occasionally sleep with a stuffed animal, Bunny. I'm not ashamed of Bunny. Actually, I don't so much snuggle with Bunny as have Bunny lie near me. I have had Bunny since 1984, and age is wearing out the girl.
34) My family roots for the Tennessee Titans.
35) I was a member of both the National Junior Honor Society and the National Honor Society. The Junior Honor Society was from my days at Albritton. The Junior Honor stressed that I should go to college. The Honor Society was from my Jenkins days. They stressed I should buy my way to community service.
36) Don't worry, I do understand that one doesn't need to buy community service. It is better to give your time than money. Time is much more meaningful for those you help.
37) I tried out for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire once. I didn't make it past the first round. At least I tried.
38) My favorite color is pink. A boy that was once dear to me told me I was too cool for pink. I don't care. I have always loved the color.
38) I like plays. The only ones I remember seeing not at a school function are Bye Bye Birdie in 1991 and Oklahoma in 1994.
40) The production of Bye Bye Birdie had Alieen Quinn. She played "Annie" in the movie in 1982. After the show, we met her. That's another to add to #32. ![]()
41) At that time, I had a case of pneumonia. I still wonder how I stayed awake for that show. I spent the whole week home from school getting over my illness.
42) I saw Oklahoma while at Girl Scout camp. Imagine 7 teenage girls swooning over the college kids in the production!
43) I like collecting items. Some things I collect include baseball cards, pencils, lapel pins, and CDs.

46) I want a pinball machine one day. I could never play it as a child because it was illegal in my parents' hometown. However, I never grew up in that town, just with the law.

49) The first person I really thought was Mr 99.44% turned out not to be. His loss in the long run, not mine. I would have given him the world. In fact, I did one day.

62) I nearly pull a "Felicity" when I was going to attend Georgia Tech. The boy I had a crush on was going to attend there. I think it was best that we never were an item. He's too liberal for me. Plus, the Abe Lincoln look he has at the moment is not my style.
63) I played the flute in 6th & 7th grades. I still have a flute. I don't play it anymore. I wish I did.

65) I've toured a cave once in 1992. The cave was Forbidden Caverns in Sevierville, TN. We stopped on the way home to Ft. Bragg from Nashville that summer.

81) Personally, I think everyone suffers from depression and low self-esteem. Some will admit it. Others don't or can't.

90) I enjoyed the movie Titanic. However, when the guy smacked the propellers as the ship was sinking and it made a ping sound, I nearly lost it. The movie lost the realism for me at that point. I wasn't alone. My mother lost it at that point, too.
91) I was member of Armstrong's Honors Program.
92) I wanted to graduate with honors, but gave up after getting a C after 2 attempts in Calculus. I decided I don't need the honor seal to graduate with honors.
93) My first car was a blue 1990 Ford Taurus.
94) I like to think I've been true to myself.
95) I like wearing green and blue clothes.
96) I wish I had gotten my Silver and Gold Girl Scout awards.
97) I'm a geek and proud of it.
98) I like to write, but I'm embarrassed by the outcomes I produce. Many times, I'll start a story but can never finish it. Poetry and prose, they are different. As you see, I'm not ashamed of them. I look at them as a way of dealing with emotions.
99) I can't really sing. I can, but there are many other people out there that can sing better than me. American Idol I will never be!
100)I don't like watching sad movies. But I must say, those that I do watch seem to have a lasting impact on me.
